Frequently asked questions
When and to whom do I pay?
GalerimPlus takes no payment for rentals. Once your request is confirmed, you pay the rental company directly when you collect the car.
Is sending a request the same as booking?
No. Your request goes to the company, and nothing is booked until the company confirms. The company can confirm, offer you another car or decline. We send you the reply by e-mail and notification.
What does the price include?
The total covers the rental for your days, any delivery-point, out-of-hours, one-way and young-driver fees, and the extras you choose. A deposit is taken separately at pickup and returned when the car comes back without damage.
Which documents do I need to rent a car?
At pickup you show a valid driving licence and your ID card or passport. The minimum driver age and licence years depend on the car and are listed in its conditions.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Depending on the company's policy you can cancel for free up to 24 hours (flexible), 48 hours (moderate) or 7 days (strict) before pickup. Each offer states its terms.
What does "or similar" mean?
Rentals are by class: the company may hand over a similar car of the same class as the model shown. The class is guaranteed; the model is an example.
Can I take the car to Southern Cyprus?
Only with permitted cars from companies that allow crossing to the south. Northern insurance is not valid in the south; buy separate insurance at the border crossing. Pickup and return at Larnaca are also only possible with these companies.
